North Carolina Regional Tournaments
Dates: See website
Location: Various sites across North Carolina
Website: http://www.carolinaregionvb.org/Juniors/2009/jrschd09.html
Description
Within the USAV organization, all the teams are divided into geographic regions, of which, we are competing in the Carolina region. From there, the teams are divided further by age division and competitive bracket. As the sport continues to grow, so do the number of teams. For example, in 2008, the 15s division had over 70 teams from all over the state competing across a Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper bracket. Each bracket has two tournaments a month in various gyms across the state as well as a Regional Championship to conclude the season.

Description
All JO teams that want to further their season and play in the National tournaments in May and July must receive a bid by either winning the Region or placing well in one of the 8 National qualifiers. Big South is the closest National qualifier to the club and is the pinnacle tournament for our season. With over 800 teams across 125 nets, this tournament is one of the largest of its kind. Teams travel from across the country, but pull talent mainly from Florida, Texas, Wisconsin, and all of the states around Georgia. Here, we test our skills on a National level.
