Background
Coach Vicky has been an assistant coach at Lake Norman for the past four years. Vicky gathered experience by playing at Jay M. Robinson H.S., where her team took Tournament, Conference Tournament, and District titles her senior year, but also by playing competitively for four years at LNVB. She went on to play for UNC-Charlotte Club team but her interests soon turned to coaching.

Philosophy
Vicky is a very passionate coach and has been involved in the game for ten years. She is a defensive-oriented coach; to quote former LNVB coach Jenny Cliff, “offense wins games, defense wins championships.” As a former student-athlete she understands the stressors of school, sports, family, friends etc. Volleyball is a healthy outlet that players can use to become successful off the court and she hopes to show them how. Her goal is to help players’ progress physically and mentally with the game of volleyball, teach proper communication skills, responsibility, and work ethic.

Coaching History
Coach Vicky will be entering her 5th year with LNVB. As an assistant coach her first year at LNVB X-plosion 14-2, she had the privilege of coaching eager student-athletes basic volleyball skills, what competitive JO volleyball entails, and how far positive reinforcement can go. She had a very successful first season and was able to bring home the Regional Championship to conclude the season. Her second year with the club gave way to a more rigorous schedule as she decided coach the 15 Black travel team. Overall the team had a successful season placing 2nd at the Presidents Day tournament in Orlando, Florida and in the Peachtree Classic. Last season she assisted in coaching the 14 Black travel team and was able to travel to Washington D.C. to particpate in the Capitol City Classic Tournament as well as take a 14's AAU team to Penn State and AAU Nationals in Florida.
