Background
Tophy comes from a family entrenched in volleyball. He has a sister who played at UNCG, and another who is currently playing at California Baptist University (formerly played at UNC). Tophy’s brother also played at California Baptist University and continued his volleyball career by playing with the USA men’s national team and playing three seasons professionally in Turkey and Cypress.

Tophy has been involved with volleyball for over 10 years. Most of his activities have revolved around leisure play, but most recently he has been linked to organized league play. He played in an indoor league, a grass doubles league, and a sand quads league.

Philosophy
Tophy’s passion is helping others mature in the sport. Combining physical talent with an advanced mind set makes for a fierce competitor. Pushing players to the next level is the ultimate goal for him. Tophy looks forward to working with another team this season and pushing them to the limits of their potential.
